Route in brief

The south has so much to offer. For instance, pristine nature, including nature and national parks, hidden coves and beaches, plus delicious cuisine.

The southern part of Croatia is also the best place to taste traditional Croatian food and to try some local specialties.

Day 1

Slano – Sipan (8 Nm)

The island of Šipan is located in an archipelago west of the city of Dubrovnik, also known as the Elafiti islands.

Day 2

Sipan – Polace (23 Nm)

Sailing from Šipan to the island of Mljet. Stop on Saplunara bay and discover the island’s sandy beaches and dense forests. Then, sail north and explore the Mljet National Park and the city of Polače.

Day 3

Polace – Trpanj (36 Nm)

Leave Mljet and head to the Pelješac peninsula. On the western part of the peninsula, you can find the small village of Lovišće. For diving lovers, there’s a great spot in Lovišće!

Day 4

Trpanj – Korcula (8 Nm)

Sail from Trpanj to Korčula Island. Explore the main town, Korčula – a typical medieval Dalmatian town, full of towers, churches, and houses with red roofs.

Day 5

Korcula- Lastovo (15 Nm)

Sail from Korčula to Lastovo. The isolated island of Lastovo, along with other 45 islands, forms what’s called a municipality island.

Day 6

Lastovo – Kobas (38 Nm)

Sail from Lastovo to Kobaš. Returning to the Pelješac peninsula, discover Kobaš, a small village near Ston.

Day 7

Kobas – Slano (7 Nm)

Total sailing distane: 135 Nm

Places you’ll visit

Sipan

Šipan is the biggest and most populated island of the group, with many olive plantations and vineyards. Sail to the port in Sipanska Luka and enjoy the delights of this beautiful island. In the northern part of the island you can explore Mišnjak, swim or snorkel and admire its underwater beauty. Hop off to the small island Jakljan, also part of the archipelago, where you will be able to enjoy an amazing swimming spot.

Polace (Mljet)

Relish the island life and the tranquility of the Mediterranean on Croatia’s “greenest island”.

Trpanj (Peljesac)

Pelješac is famous for its wineries and wines, oysters, and ark shells. In the town of Trpanj, one of the oldest ones in this peninsula, you can find the only tuna bar in the Adriatic – look for the Beach Bar Trpanj and taste the pleasures of the Mediterranean food.

Korcula

In Korčula you can enjoy Moreška, a unique knight’s dance with swords. Wine lovers can enjoy local traditional wines such as Posip, Grk, and Plavac Mali.

Lastovo

Peaceful and quiet, Lastovo is perfect for nature lovers, with an astonishing underwater world and overall scenery. Skrivena Luka, which means Hidden Bay, is a magnificent bay located in the southern part of the island; here you can admire one of the oldest lighthouses on the Adriatic Sea, built in the 19th century.
