Hvar

If you prefer less crowded places head over to Stari Grad where you can admire the Stari Grad Plain, a big agricultural field, built by ancient Greek colonists 2400 years ago with its original layout still visible. Nowadays it grows mostly grapes and olives and, in 2017, Stari Grad was elected one of the Best European Destinations for a holiday or a trip.

Vis

The nearby island of Ravnik hides the less famous Green Cave or follow the crowds and go a little further and discover the Blue Cave on the island of Bisevo, just off the coast of Komiža. While on Vis try vugava, a local wine is grown, in the interior part of the island, and visit some of the renowned restaurants – Pojoda, Villa Kaliopa or Jastozera.
