Dive and Sail Highlights

Palmizana

This is one of the favorite spots for all sailors. Explore top restaurants and bars or find peace and quiet in one of the numerous bays and coves.

Komiza

This small fisherman’s village is one of the best scuba diving spots. The surroundings of the island are abundant with corals and sponges and its rich maritime history and strategic significance have resulted in many ship- and airplane wrecks.

Lastovo

The island is an Adriatic diving pearl. Explore the underwater and enjoy the adventurous dive underneath the islet of Bijelac in the Lastovnjaci archipelago, or admire the beautiful walls of gorgonie and corals at cape Struga.

Korcula

The island and the town invite you to taste various wines like Posip and Plavac that have been produced here. Then stroll through the beautiful streets full of history and legends.

Lucice cave

This cave on the island of Brac is considered to be one of the most beautiful diving spots in the whole Adriatic. It has been enlisted as one of the top destinations in Croatia on most foreign web portals and diving magazines. The cave is very big and it branches into two rooms on the left and right, and it’s full of sea life.

DIVE AND SAIL CRUISE CROATIA – ITINERARY SUGGESTION*

Day 1 – Saturday

Split (check-in) – Palmizana

Split – check in, introduction to the crew and boat. Sailing from Split to Palmizana. Relax walking through pine woods or exploring hidden beaches and bays on SUPs. Enjoy dinner in one of cozy restaurants in Palmizana or take a taxi boat and dine with style in Hvar.

Day 2 – Sunday

Palmizana – Komiza

Sailing from Palmizana to Komiza (island Vis), where depending on weather conditions or your preferences you can choose one of many fascinating diving sites: a wrecked aircraft B-24 Liberator Tulsamerican, Italian cargo steamer Teti with its conger eel „protector” and many more.

Day 3 – Monday

Komiza – Vis

Sailing from Komiza to Vis with stops on the way to some of the most famous beaches: Stiniva, Stoncica (with a beautiful lighthouse), island Ravnik with its Green cave or Srebrna.

Day 4 – Tuesday

Vis – Lastovo

Sailing to the island of Lastovo. Dive under the island of Bjelac and admire vast walls of gorgonie at cape Struga.

Day 5 – Wednesday

Lastovo – Korcula

Sailing to the island Korcula where you can taste the wines that have been produced here ever since the Greeks colonized the Croatian islands (some 2300 years ago). Savor the flavours of Plavac and Grk wines in a charming wine cellar near Lumbarda. Finish the day with a stroll through the streets of Korcula and admire the architecture, history and legends that are inseparable from the town itself (suggestion: visit the house of Marco Polo).

Day 6 – Thursday

Korcula – Vrboska (or Jelsa)

Sail off for the island of Hvar with swimming or relaxing stops in Peljesac or Hvar. Overnight in Jelsa or Vrboska – charming small towns on the northern side of the island.

Day 7 – Friday

Vrboska – Milna – Split

Sailing to Milna from where the final scuba diving excursion takes you either to Lucice Cave or Livka bay. The big underwater cave has an interesting entry, large central chamber and a small tunnel. The Livka bay on the island of Solta has a vertical wall covered in seaweeds and corals. Easy return to Split.

Day 8 – Saturday

Split

Late check-out till 9:00. If you have a late flight or departure, then explore the streets of Split on your own, or join a guided walking tour. If you have an earlier flight, then just relax while you wait for the airport pickup service.
