This boat belongs to the Trawler range by BENETEAU, a range designed to seek new horizons. Thanks to the comfort, seaworthiness and great living spaces on board these boats, they charm the global community and have over 1,000 long-distance boat owners.
The new Swift Trawler 48 is a mid-range boat with an overall length of 14.74 meters and a beam of 4.50 meters. It is classified as CE Category B and has the capacity for 12 persons. The lean flared bow guarantees fuel consumption efficiency and safe maneuvering.
Swift Trawler 48: Performance
The semi-planing hull is a product of MICAD naval architects, and it ensures the optimization of fuel efficiency across the speed range. The fuel tank that stores 1930 liters expect to reach a range of more than 600 nm at 9 knots speed. The standard Cummins QSB 6.7 litre 380 hp engines allow a maximum speed of 21 knots. The upgraded version with 425 hp engines reach a top speed of 25 knots. Moreover, the water tank holds up to 640 liters of fresh water.

A Functional Space For Enjoying The Sea
In order to maximize the indoor and outdoor living spaces, the back cockpit has enough room to place a folding table, two leather chairs as well as a big bench seat. The comfort and exceptional functionality of the outdoor living space sharpen the smart design elements such as the overhead handrail, sliding flybridge stairs controllable by a foot pedal or starboard side deck acrylic “windproof” door. Further, a double gate leads to a massive swim platform with a carrying capacity of a 350 kg dinghy. Optionally, this platform can be hydraulic. Sea ladder with pool handrails makes enjoying the sea convenient at all times.
The Flybridge
Thanks to the flybridge floor area of 20 m2, admiring the stunning sea views throughout the whole day is a delight. Moreover, the backrests on the pilot seat are adjustable and provide enough forward-facing seats during navigation. This is also a great place to enjoy your food and relax at the vis-a-vis seating. Those that are interested in upgrading the flybridge may opt for the optional T-top with a sliding soft-top. The aft flybridge area is great for sunbeds or keeping water toys.
The Foredeck
On the Swift Trawler 48, the perfect place for relaxation is the foredeck. Optional adjustable sun pads are ideal for reading, sunbathing, sipping a cocktail or even entertaining. It’s also easily and safely accessible due to the asymmetrical deck layout.

The Main Saloon
At the main saloon’s entrance is the spacious L-shaped galley with a fridge and freezer in full height of a 255 L capacity plus overhead storage. The standard galley comes with either a multi-function electric oven or a gas oven. Furthermore, the Swift Trawler 48 offers a smart corner storage unit, drawers and cabinets that provide a lot of storage space perfect for long sailing holidays on board. In addition, there is room for an optional dishwasher. Based on your personal preferences, choose an induction or gas hob. A big sink adds to the functionality, as does a large sideboard with a bottle rack and additional storage space.
A U-shaped dining area offers great panorama views and comfortable seating for up to 8 people. An optional wine chiller for up to 23 bottles can be installed under the seats. Under the portside dashtop, there is space for a 40’’ television.
The Lower Helm
The placement of the helm station is very functional and makes docking and circulation easy. This is due to the side door leading to the starboard midship cleat and the bulwark gate. The helm can be equipped with the Beneteau ship control system and 2 x 12” Raymarine MFD monitors. In order to increase safety and reduce docking stress, we recommend opting for stern docking lights, an aft docking camera and the Cummins system with a combined joystick. The helm perfectly matches the adjustable pilot seat and dashtop in dark grey. This professional space the new Swift Trawler 48 is offering ensures safe navigation in every visible circumstance.
Excellently Equipped Cabins And Bathrooms
The Master Cabin
The master cabin has a spacious double berth with storage space underneath. More space for your belongings is available in the overhead lockers and wardrobes. Undoubtedly, there is enough natural daylight and air circulation thanks to the massive hull windows with portholes and the overhead hatch. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower with a teak seat.
The Guest Cabin
Furthermore, the port guest cabin also has a massive hull window with porthole, wardrobe and two single berths that are easily transformed into a double berth if desired. Besides, this cabin also benefits from an en-suite door to the day bathroom with a walk-in shower with a seat. Lastly, the standard guest cabin offers a double berth and spacious wardrobe where an optional washer/dryer could be installed.
Standard woodwork is offered in Teak and Oak is optional. Choose either wood or crème slatted wardrobe doors with panels to match your needs.
The Swift Trawler 48 accommodates up to 8 people since there are three cabins, plus a convertible berth in the dining area in the main saloon. Privacy is assured thanks to curtains offered in the standard version.
All these features make you feel at home but with the only difference – the stunning sea views.
