Volvo Penta Center Croatia, as part of Nautika Centar Nava, is proud to announce our participation in the prestigious 25^th edition of Biograd Boat Show. 

At this year’s event, Volvo Penta Center Croatia is bringing a range of products and innovations to Biograd. From innovative propulsion systems to state-of-the-art engines, visitors will be able to see the very best of Volvo Penta. As industry leaders in marine technology and solutions, we’ll be presenting 3 marine engines, the IPS drive, the assisted docking VR display, and the Humphree Lightning simulator. What’s more, we have prepared special offers for all visitors and clients during the show. 

Engines And Propulsions On Display

Volvo Penta Aquamatic D6-440 DPI – is a highly efficient and integrated package. It is powered by the inline six-cylinder 5.5 liter common rail diesel engine with double overhead camshafts and supercharger as well as a turbo. Combined with the DPI DuoProp that perfectly matches this model, the package produces exceptional performance while maintaining low emissions.

IPS 10 – Reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emission by up to 30% with the innovative Volvo Penta Inboard Performance System (IPS). It’s a complete and integrated yacht propulsion system. Enjoy the extra space on board and the smooth and silent ride. Have fun with your friends and family, because boating with IPS is  easy and safe. Joystick docking makes coming in and out of ports and anchorages a child’s play. Plus bigger cruising range and increasing maximum speed add to the thrills of  a day on water.

We’re also displaying two engines from the compact series: 

Volvo Penta D1-30 an in-line 2-cylinder, naturally aspirated diesel engine that uses a camdriven, in-line injection pump, and freshwater cooling. Enjoy a quiet ride with minimal vibrations at low cruising rpm.

Volvo Penta D2-50 – this is an in-line 4-cylinder, 2.2 l naturally aspirated diesel engine using a camdriven, in-line injection pump, and freshwater cooling. At low cruising rpm, the engine runs quietly and with minimal vibrations.

The Finest Innovations

Experince the assisted docking VR display and see if you can dock like a pro. Try this next generation of marine automation that makes single-handed docking a safe and pleasant event rather than stressful and difficult. The system actually compensates for wind, waves, and currents. It does so by maintaining steady direction of the vessel, even in tight spots and crowded marinas. 

Humphree is a new brand within Volvo Penta that manufactures advanced flaps for vessel stabilization. Check out the HUMPHREE Lightning simulator which is a new system designed for boats ranging from 20 to 45 feet.
