As the official distributor of Lagoon catamarans in Croatia, Nautika Centar Nava is excited to share the recently announced brand-new model from this French brand – the Lagoon EIGHTY 2. Its appearance, along with its smart design, is extremely luxurious but it also embodies comfort and uniqueness. This remarkable result is the culmination of the efforts of leading industry professionals, architects, and designers.

The idea for the Lagoon EIGHTY 2 was no accident. The same team of professionals was involved in creating and designing the SEVENTY 7. Patrick Le Quement worked on the exterior design, considering every detail with the goal of creating something unique and captivating. Another notable contributor is Maison Sarah Lavoine, responsible for the design of the interior. They managed to combine French elegance and beauty with sustainability throughout the new model.

The catamaran captivates at first sight, so let’s dissect some EIGHTY 2 details.

An open space that extends to the sea

The Lagoon EIGHTY 2 is special for its spacious flybridge and cockpit, perfect for sunbathing and relaxation. Enjoy nearly 55 square meters on the flybridge and the expansive cockpit. If you add the 22 square meters of the swim platform, ideal for diving, sunbathing, or jet skiing, you get an impressive exterior living room. Each detail is carefully designed, with customizable furniture to fit your needs. Solar panels on the bimini and coach roof power onboard equipment, maximizing renewable energy use. The flybridge features two steering stations to free up interior space. Positioning the mast forward further enhances the exterior space.

Take in the horizon from the comfort of the interior

The spacious saloon seamlessly flows from the cockpit and it’s designed for easy movement. The flexible furniture easily adapts to different needs and purposes. For added comfort, large windows on all sides offer an enjoyable 360-degree view of the horizon.

Just forward of the saloon is a partially covered forward cockpit. It’s connected to the saloon’s bar area through doors and windows. This space fits up to 8 people, offering a shaded spot with great views of the open sea.

Inside the yacht, there are 6 comfortable cabins, each with an en-suite bathroom. The master cabin has the option of a private terrace that offers an excellent view of the surroundings and direct access to the water.

Sustainability Matters

As mentioned, the Lagoon EIGHTY 2 was built and designed with sustainability in mind. Lagoon has been finding suitable suppliers and ways to use “low carbon” materials, for years. These efforts resulted in using bio-sourced resin and hemp fiber in non-structural parts, which helps Lagoon reduce CO₂ emissions by 10 tons per boat. To everyone’s satisfaction, it’s part of a broader effort by Groupe Beneteau to achieve a 30% reduction in their carbon footprint by 2030. Well done!
